Sana began practicing yoga daily 15 years ago in college where she attained a BA in Business and Masters in Computer Science. At that time, yoga was purely a means of physical exercise. In 2015 Sana felt a dramatic shift internally and suddenly the spiritual, emotional and physical effects of yoga were beyond profound. She chose to pursue a role sharing with others in what she feels very strongly is not a hobby, but a way of life and completed her 200 hour RYT.
Sana approaches both her personal practice and teachings with humble curiosity and thoughtful consideration. She believes that yoga has the power to heal, transform and shift perspectives. Her classes are challenging, but accessible to all levels. In her class she attempts to make space for all to feel safe and empowered. Influenced by a variety of modern Vinyasa forms, she leads class with an emphasis on alignment, strength and breath.
Sana believes every day and every practice is an opportunity to develop a finer balance between effort and ease.
Sana is Yoga Alliance RYT 200 & ACA SUP Instructor, lover of nature and mother of Isaac.
