Debra grew up playing competitive tennis and experienced the usual and frustrating injuries that can come from playing sports at a high level. Her academic background is in neural science, exercise physiology and nutrition. Finding yoga only after a debilitating back injury, Debra has regained an active lifestyle and discovered a calling. Debra is focused on helping make yoga accessible to people of all ages and abilities, so that they too can benefit from its countless life enhancing and healing qualities. Debra's yoga classes are lovingly and thoughtfully created to introduce yogic techniques and philosophy that help balance life's constant stresses on the body and mind, creating opportunities for more balance, health and happiness.
